As a full-time high school business teacher, Deborah spent every summer adapting curriculum resources to increase the rigor, relevance and relationships in the classes she taught.

Like many teachers, she spent hours of her “off duty” time rewriting and refreshing lessons to address state standards, project based learning, authentic assessment, and other ever-changing best practices in education.  She even created online learning modules to help differentiate instruction.

            

During her tenure, she learned how to turn her prep time into college credit while working full time.  As a result, she earned 20 graduate level college credits in a year and a half for a fraction of the cost.
